Is the food safe? Who makes it?
Every kitchen is a real neighbor baking under Wisconsin's cottage food law — made at home, not in a licensed commercial kitchen. Bakers list their ingredients and allergens, and you can message them before ordering. If you have an allergy, always check first.
How does pickup work?
You reserve and pay online, then pick up from the baker during their posted window. The exact address is shared privately after you order — no address on a public page.
How do I pay? Is it secure?
All payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. You pay when you reserve, so your order is held for you.
Do you deliver?
No — Neighbor Table is pickup-only, on purpose. Keeping it local is what makes fresh, home-baked food possible at these prices, and it's how you actually meet the person who made your food.
What if something's wrong with my order?
Message the baker first — most things get sorted quickly. If you can't reach a resolution, email support@neighbortable.app and we'll help make it right.
What are Table Points?
You earn Table Points on every order and can redeem them at any kitchen on Neighbor Table. Invite a baker who opens their kitchen and you'll both earn a bonus.
For bakers
Is it legal for me to sell home-baked goods?
In Wisconsin, yes — the cottage food law lets you sell many home-baked, shelf-stable goods directly to neighbors without a commercial license. Neighbor Table is built around those rules. You're responsible for following them; we surface the disclosures.
What does it cost me?
Nothing to open your kitchen, and you keep 100% of your list price. Neighbors cover a small service fee (6% + $0.39) at checkout — so the price you set is the price you get.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts go straight to your bank through Stripe, usually within a couple of business days of the order. You connect your account once during setup.
What can I sell?
Shelf-stable baked goods and treats that qualify under Wisconsin's cottage food law — breads, cookies, bars, pies, and the like. If you're unsure whether an item qualifies, email support@neighbortable.app before you list it.
What are drops and the Bread Club?
Drops are timed, limited releases — schedule one and your followers get a heads-up the moment it goes live. Bread Club lets neighbors prepay for a set of pickups (a weekly loaf, a monthly cookie box), giving you predictable income.
